Based on Foucault’s theory of origin which states, “the lofty origin is no more than a ‘metaphysical extension‘ which arises from the belief that things are most precious and essential at the moment of birth’; we tend to think that this is the moment of their greatest perfection, when they emerge dazzling from the hands of a creator or in the shadowless light of a first morning. The origin always precedes the fall. It comes before the body...”

Loneliness and an obsession with vanity has pushed one woman to take unconventional measures to find happiness. After her daily beauty regimen she decides to perform more drastic procedures on her body which trigger her inner thoughts to drive her mad. She finally leaves her home to venture into the outside world only to find more sadistic ways to enhance her beauty regimen.

The film reveals a noblewoman and her devotees perpetuating their power by preying upon her subjects. For each young victim, the rite of adolescence becomes a rite of death. And for the noblewoman – the COUNTESS BATHORY – the rite of death becomes a rite of adolescence.

Under a full-moon, lives are forever altered when a mysterious and violent encounter sends a dog on a night of adventure and possibility. Meanwhile, his lonesome owner goes out on the hunt, only to find her prey unexpectedly closer to home. A supernatural, genre-defying tale.
